I’ve read some things regarding the AFM (V8/V4) on the GM engines and that it’s detrimental to the engine. I need some knowledge and opinions on this subject. Is this valid and is a device such as the one made by Range Technology a good and / or safe solution?

2014 C7 Stringray Coupe Third Brake Light Access

I have installed red LEDS inside the red reflectors on my rear diffuser. I want to connect them to my brake lights or third brake light circuit so they will also light up when the brakes are applied. Do any of you C7 owners know how to access the tail/third brake light circuit. I believe there has to be a way to access the lights without completely dismantling the rear of the vehicle. There must be a way to change the blubs if necessary. Any assistance or thoughts on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Stumped in Florida.

low c7 idle speed

I have two questions:
1. Why is the manual transmission idle speed on my 2015 c7 so low at 600 rpm? I am used to 800 rpm for manual transmissions on previous cars including two Corvettes. This can make the clutch release, especially at start in first gear, more difficult than necessary. The tech at my dealership said that the idle speed was normal, and then proceeded into several jerky clutch releases and actually stalled the engine once on the test drive.
2. How can I increase the idle speed to 800 rpm or at least something higher than it is now?
