Dustin Did you get an answer to your questions? I have a factory assembly manual that will cover all options as well as a crash manual. Ken Kenneth Hertzog on 3/12/2010 9:51:59 AM
Dustin, Do you have or another Vette bud have the black book of Corvettes, it should have specs, colors, options, a little general info etc. A good source of knowledge for our rides.hope that helps. Bob C. and Save the Wave Posted by Administrator on 2/3/2010 3:59:35 PM
do you have a corvette black book, it list the engine specs, options, colors, general facts and other info, which may help you get a start on gathering some of the info you are looking. hope this helps a little. bob c bobctm3 on 2/2/2010 5:20:58 PM
you can get the tank sticker off the fuel tank. take the filler door and rubber seal off and look on top of the tank with a light. with small hands you can reach in and get it but be carefull it will probably be brittle. Robert Morrarty on 2/2/2010 5:10:36 PM
The tank sticker is the best but you can get a lot of information from the internet. Go to Bing and type in 1969 corvette specifications and you'll be able to match up some informtion from your cars registration number. Larry Peterson on 2/2/2010 1:24:32 PM
I don't think the build sheets exist before '82? as there was a fire in the St. Louis plant. But check out the museum archives. Don't call or write as it is best to go see for yourself and enjoy the trip. If you aren't a NCM member yet, join while you are there. Glenda Hale on 2/2/2010 12:25:56 PM
Our son and his dad restored a '69 roadster and while refurbishing the gas tank (had rust holes in it), they found the build sheet sticker on the top of the tank. That tells exactly what the options are: Power steering, Power Brakes, etc. The VIN shows the engine, etc. Glenda Hale on 2/2/2010 12:21:31 PM
I'm assuming you do not have a copy of the original window sticker. You can get one or even better, a copy of the build sheet. Both are available from the National Corvette Museum. I have them for both of our Corvettes. It will also tell you exactly when your car was built. Another thing I would suggest you get is a copy of the Corvette Black Book. They are published annually. I normally pick up a new one every couple of years just to stay current. Many Corvette vendors carry them including the Corvette Museum Store. If you are a member, all of these items are available at a discounted price. I'm not pushing the Museum, but as a member it's just nice to know that the Museum is a good source for the information you need. The black book can tell you exactly how many Corvettes were built in 69 that were the same as yours. A very interesting read!!! Diane Quackenbush Edward Quackenbush on 2/2/2010 11:36:29 AM
