You must mean cyl's 1 and 3 on the drivers side of the engine. That would be the option B4P cooling fan switch (B4P fan is mounted in front of A/C condenser) the dash coolant temp sensor is located between cyls 6 and 8 on the passenger side. This means you can remove the original sensor on the passenger side and install the gauge sender there. My question is why use the mechanical gauge? The temp will be the same and good quality electric gauges are very reliable. We are just wrapping up a complete analog gauge cluster at Petris Enterprises Inc. to replace the digital factory unit. If you are going to use a mechanical Temp Gauge, there are no wires that you have to connect. Mech Gauges require a water temp sensor that will srew into a water jacket on the block. William Maine on 6/18/2010 9:50:30 AM
