Anybody know the procedure to adjust hydraulic lifter using a solid lifter cam on my LT-1? Don't say it's impossible as my car has been running that way for over thirty years!
I believe the Chev dealer installed the hydraulics sometime back in 1976 or 1977.

I never heard of that but I guess anything is possible. You cannot adjust hydraulic lifters. If you are tapping then the lifters are probably bad.
