I can't get both sides to latch on my hood. one side does and the other doesn't I have tried to adjust but must be doing it wrong any ideas. One side down then other but not good ,get in car back out of driveway and bad side pops up.

Having same problem with my 69. Simply tightening the base of the male component of the latch seemed to help. Vibration of engine and car seems to loosen over time but re-tightening again seems to resolve the problem temporarily. Good luck.
